Job Purpose To plan, manage, and execute procurement activities for the Manufacturing and Fabrication Plant, ensuring the timely availability of raw materials, consumables, components, and services at competitive costs while maintaining quality standards, optimizing inventory, and ensuring compliance with company policies and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.

Key Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs)

1. Procurement Planning and Execution · Plan and execute procurement as per production requirements. · Source raw materials, fabrication materials, consumables, and components. · Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules. · Issue Purchase Orders (POs) through ERP and ensure timely deliveries. · Develop alternate suppliers and identify cost-saving opportunities.
2. Inventory and Material Management · Coordinate with Production and Stores for material planning and availability. · Monitor stock levels, reorder points, pending orders, and material shortages. · Optimize inventory and minimize wastage, excess stock, and obsolete materials. · Ensure proper material receipt verification and GRN reconciliation.
3. Cost Control and Budget Management · Monitor purchase expenditure against approved budgets. · Implement cost-reduction initiatives without compromising quality. · Conduct price comparisons, cost analysis, and market benchmarking. · Track savings and material price fluctuations.
4. Supplier and Vendor Management · Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers. · Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.



· Resolve material rejections, supply delays, and vendor-related issues. · Maintain effective vendor relationships and negotiate long-term agreements.
5. Compliance and Documentation · Ensure compliance with procurement policies and approval procedures. · Maintain purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements, and supplier records. · Support ISO 9001:2015 requirements and internal / external audits. · Monitor procurement risks and contractual obligations.
6. Interdepartmental Coordination · Coordinate with Management for approvals, purchase status, and cost savings. · Work with Production, Quality, Stores, Dispatch / Logistics, Sales, and Finance for material planning, quality, delivery, and payment coordination.
7. MIS and Reporting · Prepare periodic reports on purchase expenditure, cost savings, supplier performance, pending orders, inventory, and material rejections. · Analyze procurement data and report critical shortages, cost variations, and supply risks to management. · Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Technical

Competencies · Advanced MS Excel and MS Office. · Working knowledge of ERP systems and purchase modules. · Knowledge of procurement planning, inventory management, and material control. · Solid negotiation, costing, and price comparison skills. · Understanding of manufacturing and fabrication materials, components, and consumables. · Knowledge of supplier evaluation and performance monitoring. · Understanding of purchase documentation, GRN processes, and invoice reconciliation. · Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and procurement-related quality requirements. · Ability to prepare and analyze procurement MIS reports.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
