Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Stores Manager from the food manufacturing industry to manage factory stores, inventory, material receipts, storage, and issuance while ensuring proper stock control and timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily stores operations, including receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
- Maintain inventory of raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and finished goods, as applicable.
- Ensure proper stock records, inventory accuracy, and timely system updates.
- Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, batch numbers, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Minimise material wastage,



pilferage, and inventory losses.
- Ensure proper storage conditions, cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety compliance.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for uninterrupted production.

Candidate Requirements

- 4–8 years of relevant experience in stores management in the food manufacturing industry only.
- Any degree.
- Positive knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, and warehouse operations.
- Experience handling food raw materials and packaging materials.
- Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, batch tracking, and expiry control.
- Working knowledge of inventory software or ERP systems.
- Strong coordination, organisational, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation CTC: Up to ₹40,000 per month, based on experience and suitability.
