Coordinating with factory teams at Borsad, Takwe, and Chennai to ensure cargo readiness as per shipment schedules.

Liaising with shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHAs, and transporters to arrange timely container placement, stuffing, and movement based on cargo readiness.

Monitoring shipment milestones and resolving operational bottlenecks to meet vessel schedules, port gate-opening timelines, gate cut-offs, and documentation filing deadlines.

Ensuring seamless coordination among all stakeholders to achieve on-time cargo dispatch and export compliance.

Managing time-critical export operations, including container movement planning, customs clearance coordination, and adherence to shipping deadlines.

Export Operations Management

Overseeing end-to-end export shipment operations across FCL, LCL, Air Freight, Road Transportation, and Multimodal Logistics for both domestic and international movements.

Managing the complete shipment lifecycle, from booking and documentation to customs clearance, transportation, and final cargo dispatch.

Ensuring seamless coordination among customers, factories, shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, CHAs, and transporters for timely execution of shipments.

Monitoring shipment progress and proactively addressing operational challenges to ensure compliance with transit schedules, regulatory requirements, and customer commitments.

Driving efficient logistics planning and execution to optimize transit time, cost, and service quality across all modes of transportation.

- Pricing & Commercials

Negotiating freight rates and commercial terms with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, NVOCCs, sub-agents, and service providers, including inland transportation and local charges,



particularly for nomination shipments.

Establishing and reviewing fixed transportation rates for regular routes, while finalizing pricing agreements with vendors such as fumigation agencies, phytosanitary service providers, and other logistics partners.

Preparing, evaluating, and approving quotations in coordination with management to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and compliance with company objectives.

Monitoring freight costs, operational expenses, and shipment-wise mark-ups to maintain profitability and effective cost control across export operations.

Ensuring commercial viability of shipments by controlling miscellaneous charges and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.

Documentation & Compliance

Always ensuring accuracy of Shipping Bills, BLs, Certificates of Origin, and export commercial and supporting documents.

Maintain compliance with customs, DGFT, ICEGATE for port registration and checking of EGM status with regular shipment status.

Handle audits, notices of GST dept, and regulatory requirements like GR closure and others.

Team Management

Leading the Export Operations and Documentation team, ensuring smooth execution of all export shipments and related activities.

Managing and supervising the execution team by allocating tasks, assigning shipment folders,



and monitoring workflow to ensure timely and accurate completion of operations.

Overseeing daily operational activities and providing guidance to team members to maintain service quality, compliance, and efficiency.

Monitoring individual and team performance against defined KPIs and operational targets, while implementing corrective actions where required.

Training, mentoring, and developing new and existing team members to enhance their operational knowledge, documentation skills, regulatory compliance awareness, and overall productivity.

Promoting a collaborative and performance-driven work environment through continuous coaching, knowledge sharing, and process improvement initiatives.

Reporting & MIS

Preparing and maintaining monthly FBC (Foreign Bank Charges) statements to facilitate the recovery and refund of bank charges from corporate banking accounts.

Generating, monitoring, and analysing monthly shipment insurance reports to ensure adequate coverage and compliance with company risk management requirements.

Preparing and maintaining monthly fumigation reports, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with destination country import regulations.

Timely submission of sales reports, vendor bills, monthly export reports, shipment statistics, SB copies in case shipment pending for sailing.
