About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and technically skilled Maintenance Engineer / SCADA Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial automation systems, including SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, electrical control panels, and production equipment. The role requires ensuring system reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Troubleshooting

- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of industrial machinery and automation systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and automation-related issues.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement measures to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure minimum downtime and quick resolution of breakdowns.
- Maintain maintenance logs, reports, and documentation.

SCADA & Automation
- Install, configure, and maintain SCADA systems and HMI applications.
- Monitor real-time plant operations through SCADA platforms.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, actuators, and industrial communication networks.
- Develop, modify, and optimize SCADA screens, alarms, trends, and reports.
- Support commissioning and testing of automation systems at project sites.
- Ensure regular backup and security of SCADA and PLC programs.

System Improvement & Compliance
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation enhancement.
- Coordinate with production,



engineering, and project teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Support audits and maintain required technical documentation.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Freshers or 1–5 years of experience in maintenance, industrial automation, or SCADA systems.
- Freshers with strong academic projects in PLC/SCADA may also apply.

Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with SCADA platforms such as WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition, FactoryTalk, Citect, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Delta, etc.).
- Understanding of HMI development and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, OPC).
- Familiarity with VFDs, servo drives, sensors, instrumentation, and control panels.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation.
- Basic knowledge of networking and industrial communication systems.
