THE ROLE

As a Logistics Executive at Alltex Exim, you will coordinate and monitor domestic and international shipments, schedule transport, liaise with transporters and freight forwarders, and ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of goods. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, customers, customs house agents (CHAs), and logistics partners to support import and export operations, maintain accurate shipment documentation, and proactively resolve delivery or transit issues. The role requires solid coordination, follow-up, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on reliable execution and customer commitments.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

● Schedule and coordinate vehicles and transport for domestic dispatches, pickups,



deliveries, and shipment movement based on business requirements.

● Coordinate import and export shipments with freight forwarders, transporters, shipping lines, CHAs, suppliers, and customers, as applicable.

● Track shipment status from pickup to final delivery and follow up proactively to avoid delays or missed delivery commitments.

● Obtain and compare freight and transport quotations, coordinate bookings, and support cost-effective logistics arrangements.

● Prepare, verify, maintain, and share logistics documents and shipment records, including invoices, packing lists, transport documents, and other required paperwork.

● Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, purchase, accounts, and documentation, to ensure smooth shipment planning and execution.

● Maintain shipment trackers, transport schedules, delivery records, freight details, and logistics MIS reports for timely updates and visibility.

● Monitor delivery timelines, identify transit or scheduling issues, and coordinate corrective action with relevant logistics partners.

● Verify transporter and freight bills against agreed quotations and available shipment records, and coordinate with accounts for invoice processing.

● Maintain effective working relationships with transporters and freight forwarders and support continuous improvement in service quality and turnaround time.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

● Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in logistics, transport coordination, or shipment operations.

● Prior hands-on experience in transport scheduling and coordinating vehicle placement, pickups, dispatches, and deliveries is required.

● Experience working with an import/export company is preferred. Candidates who have worked with a reputed or established freight forwarder will also be preferred.

● Working knowledge of logistics documentation, shipment tracking, freight coordination, and transporter or forwarder follow-up.

● Ability to obtain and compare transport or freight quotations, maintain shipment trackers, and support cost and timeline control.

● Strong coordination and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal departments, vendors, transporters, CHAs, and freight forwarders.

● Good follow-up, documentation, Excel, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with a proactive and ownership-driven approach.

● A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred. Relevant practical experience will also be considered.

LOGISTICS

● Location: Surat, Gujarat (on-site)

● Reports to: Respective Manager

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate
