About the Role

About the opportunity PYXERA Global (www.pyxeraglobal.org) is seeking a locally based Project Coordinator in Hyderabad to support the SAP Global Social Sabbatical. During the program, SAP employees will contribute their skilled skills to local nonprofit organizations and social enterprises through pro bono consulting projects. The coordinator will support project development, local stakeholder engagement, program logistics, and implementation in close collaboration with PYXERA Global staff.

This is a time-bound, project-based consultancy, not a full-time employment position. The selected consultant must be available for substantial in-person coordination during February 6 – March 6, 2027, with additional preparatory tasks before the dates mentioned and close-out work as agreed.

Project development and implementation

- Identify, assess, and coordinate with potential host organizations, primarily nonprofits and social enterprises, and support the development of clear consulting Scopes of Work (SOWs).
- Support host organizations in preparing for SAP consultants, including stakeholder engagement, project planning, and meeting schedules.
- Participate in preparatory calls with SAP consultants and host organizations before the onground program.
- Serve as a local point of contact between PYXERA Global, host organizations, and SAP consultants; proactively communicate progress, challenges, and emerging needs.
- Attend project meetings and support consultants and host organizations in staying aligned on SOW objectives and deliverables.
- Support program monitoring,



documentation, expense tracking, and final narrative and financial reporting as requested.

Logistics and on-ground coordination

- Support sourcing, coordination, and negotiation of accommodation, transportation, meeting venues, and other local services as required.
- Coordinate program launch and closing events, including venue, suppliers, participant communications, and run-of-show logistics.
- Prepare practical Hyderabad orientation materials and local guidance for visiting SAP consultants.
- Support arrival orientation, local movement, stakeholder meetings, and project-related travel arrangements.
- Act as an accessible on-ground logistical resource and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Coordinate with PYXERA Global staff on local safety and security arrangements and escalate concerns promptly.

Qualifications

- Based in Hyderabad, with strong local networks and familiarity with the city and its social impact ecosystem.
- Degree in project management, development, sustainability, nonprofit management, communications, event management or a related field.
- Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience preferred,



including project coordination and stakeholder management.
- Ability to assess organizational needs and contribute to gap analysis, SWOT analysis, and consulting SOW development.
- Experience with nonprofits, social enterprises, cross-cultural teams, and/or skills-based volunteering is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and spoken English; Telugu and/or Hindi language skills are advantageous.
- Strong organizational, communication, facilitation, service orientation, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating with a geographically distributed team.

Consultancy terms and selection The engagement will be contracted on a project basis, with the scope, expected deliverables, level of effort, payment terms, and precise duration agreed before commencement.

Fees will be agreed in Indian rupees, taking account of the proposed rate, relevant experience, and project needs.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to at least two rounds of interviews and are expected to come prepared with their proposed daily consulting rate (INR) for the assignment.
