A hospital in Hyderabad, Telangana, is seeking a qualified Lab Technician with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. The selected candidate will perform routine laboratory tests, handle biological samples, maintain laboratory equipment, and support accurate and timely reporting of diagnostic results.

Qualifications

- DMLT, B.Sc.

Medical Laboratory

Technology (MLT), or an equivalent recognized qualification.

- Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.

- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, sample collection, handling, and processing.

- Familiarity with laboratory equipment, quality-control procedures, and biosafety practices.

- Valuable attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with laboratory professionals and other healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

- Collect, receive, label, and process patient samples according to established procedures.





- Perform routine laboratory tests within the scope of qualification and authorization.

- Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment as required.

- Follow quality-control procedures to support accurate and reliable test results.

- Record test results accurately and report them to the authorized personnel.

- Identify and escalate abnormal results, sample discrepancies, or equipment issues as per laboratory protocols.

- Maintain laboratory records, inventory, and testing documentation.

- Follow infection-control practices, biosafety guidelines, and hospital policies.

- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biological samples and laboratory waste.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
