About the Role

Apex Consulting is a performance marketing agency working with e-commerce and D2C brands across India and international markets.

We are looking for a Junior Retention Marketer with hands-on experience in WhatsApp marketing and a good understanding of email marketing.

The candidate will be responsible for managing marketing campaigns, setting up automated workflows, improving customer engagement, and driving repeat purchases.

Key Responsibilities

1. WhatsApp Marketing

- Plan and execute WhatsApp broadcast campaigns.
- Set up automated flows for abandoned carts, COD confirmation, order follow-ups, and customer reactivation.
- Create and manage WhatsApp message templates.
- Manage customer segmentation and personalized campaigns.
- Work with WhatsApp Business API tools and Shopify integrations.
- Track campaign performance, conversions, and revenue.
- Follow WhatsApp marketing policies and consent requirements.

2. Email Marketing

- Plan and execute email marketing campaigns.
- Set up welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and win-back email automations.
- Segment customers for targeted campaigns.
- Coordinate with designers and copywriters.
- Monitor and improve email campaign performance.

3. Campaign Management





- Manage email and WhatsApp campaigns for multiple brands.
- Prepare monthly campaign calendars.
- Monitor campaign results and retention revenue.
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate campaign execution.

Tools & Platforms

- WhatsApp Marketing: Interakt, WATI, AiSensy, Gupshup
- Email Marketing: Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend
- E-commerce: Shopify, WooCommerce
- Reporting: Google Sheets, Excel, GA4

Required Skills & Experience

- 1–2 years of experience in retention marketing, WhatsApp marketing, or email marketing.
- Strong practical knowledge of end-to-end WhatsApp marketing is mandatory.
- Experience in WhatsApp broadcasts, automations, template approvals, and integrations.
- Good understanding of email marketing campaigns and automation.
- Basic knowledge of customer segmentation and retention strategies.
- Experience working with e-commerce or D2C brands preferred.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns independently.
