ABOUT THE ROLE:
- We are hiring a Junior Developer / Technical Support Engineer to diagnose and resolve technical issues across APIs and integrations. This is a hands-on technical role: strong technical know-how is required, not only customer service experience.
- You will report to the Lead Engineer, work within approved access controls, and escalate complex issues with clear evidence.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Diagnose REST API, HTTP, authentication, JSON/XML payload and integration issues.
- Use Postman/cURL, databases, logs and basic Linux/network troubleshooting to investigate problems.
- Read and debug code in at least one relevant language.
- Reproduce defects and resolve minor bugs within approved access controls.
- Document tickets and escalate complex issues with evidence.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on technical know-how, not only customer-service experience.
- Ability to diagnose REST API, HTTP, authentication, JSON/XML payload and integration issues.
- Working use of Postman/cURL, databases and logs, plus basic Linux and network troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and debug code in at least one relevant language.
- Ability to reproduce defects and resolve minor bugs within approved access controls.
- Clear ticket documentation and the judgement to escalate complex issues with evidence.
- Willingness to work a defined shift roster.
- Ability to adapt to an AI-driven work culture and effectively leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to enhance productivity and efficiency.
