About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to manage daily accounting entries, payment gateway reconciliation, supplier accounts, debtor and creditor ledgers, and bank reconciliation for our online trading business.

Key responsibilities

- Payment gateway reconciliation:

Match orders, settlements, fees, refunds, chargebacks, and actual bank credits across multiple payment gateways.

- Supplier reconciliation:

Maintain ledgers for 100+ suppliers, verify invoices, debit notes, credit notes, payments, and outstanding balances.

- Debtors and creditors:

Maintain accurate accounts receivable and payable records and follow up on discrepancies.

- Bank reconciliation:

Match bank statements with accounting entries and identify missing or duplicate transactions.

- Ledger management:

Maintain accurate party-wise ledgers and resolve differences regularly.

- Order and sales reconciliation:

Match sales reports, customer payments, returns, cancellations, and refunds.

- Documentation:

Maintain supporting invoices, payment proofs,



reconciliation statements, and outstanding reports.

- MIS reporting:

Prepare weekly reports showing supplier outstanding balances, customer receivables, gateway settlements, and unreconciled transactions.

Required skills

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, debit and credit entries, and ledgers.

- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, filters, and PivotTables.

- Familiarity with Tally, Xero, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software is preferred.

- Basic understanding of credit/debit notes.

- Accuracy, patience, organization, and willingness to learn.

Ideal candidate A fresher or junior-level candidate with basic accounting knowledge who is comfortable handling large Excel files, identifying mismatches, and maintaining clean and updated ledgers.

- Important:

Practical reconciliation skills and accuracy matter more than years of experience.
