Java Backend Developer

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our IT Services team, where you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining robust server-side applications. This position demands a deep understanding of modern architectural patterns and distributed systems, offering a competitive annual compensation of ₹17 LPA. Ideal candidates will possess between 3 to 8 years of professional experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge to our engineering initiatives. You will be instrumental in driving the development of scalable microservices, ensuring high availability and performance for our critical business operations.

Responsibilities

- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java 8, 11, or 17, adhering to RESTful API standards.
- Design and develop secure authentication and authorization mechanisms utilizing JWT and OAuth2 protocols.
- Manage containerized applications and orchestrate deployments using Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- Facilitate asynchronous communication and event-driven architectures through message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle by integrating CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.




- Manage version control and code collaboration effectively using Git and build automation tools including Maven or Gradle.
- Develop data access layers and persistence logic leveraging Hibernate and JPA frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

- Proven work experience of 3 to 8 years in backend development, specifically within the IT Services sector.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming (versions 8, 11, or 17) with a focus on up-to-date best practices.
- Solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and the ability to design RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with messaging systems and event streaming platforms like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Demonstrated knowledge of security standards, including JWT and OAuth2 implementation.
- Proficiency in continuous integration and deployment tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with build management tools like Maven or Gradle and version control systems like Git.
- Competence in object-relational mapping using Hibernate or JPA for database interactions.
