Role Overview

Decofurn Multisolutions Management Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Expert – Server & Storage to design, implement, manage, and support enterprise-level server, storage, and virtualization infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience with enterprise server hardware, storage technologies, virtualization platforms, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and infrastructure performance optimization. The candidate must be capable of managing complex IT environments while ensuring high availability, security, scalability, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and manage enterprise server and storage infrastructure.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot physical and virtual servers.
- Manage storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and DAS.
- Administer VMware vSphere/ESXi or Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization environments.
- Monitor server health, storage capacity, performance, and availability.
- Implement and maintain backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Perform server migrations, storage migrations, firmware upgrades, patching, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Configure and troubleshoot RAID, LUNs, volumes, datastores, multipathing, and storage connectivity.
- Manage capacity planning, resource allocation, performance tuning, and infrastructure scalability.
- Implement security hardening, access controls, compliance policies, and infrastructure best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, configuration records, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with network, security, database, and application teams to resolve infrastructure issues.




- Participate in infrastructure implementation, upgrades, migrations, and enterprise-level projects.

Technical Skills – Server & Storage Candidates should have practical knowledge of the following technologies:

1. Server Infrastructure

- Enterprise rack and blade servers from Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, or Lenovo ThinkSystem.
- Server hardware components: CPU, RAM, RAID controllers, NICs, HBAs, power supplies, and firmware.
- BIOS/UEFI configuration, iDRAC, iLO, and remote server management.
- Windows Server and Linux server administration.
- Hardware troubleshooting, server provisioning, and lifecycle management.

2. Storage Technologies

- SAN, NAS, and DAS architecture and administration.
- Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, NFS, and SMB/CIFS protocols.
- Enterprise storage platforms such as Dell PowerStore/PowerMax, HPE Alletra, NetApp, IBM Storage, or equivalent.
- RAID levels, storage pools, LUN provisioning, zoning, masking, and multipathing.
- Thin provisioning, snapshots, clones, storage replication, and tiering.
- Storage capacity planning, latency monitoring, IOPS, throughput, and performance optimization.
- Fibre Channel switches and storage fabric troubleshooting.

3. Virtualization

- VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter Server, vMotion, HA, DRS, and virtual machine management.
- Microsoft Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, and virtual switch configuration.
- Virtual machine provisioning, resource allocation, snapshots, templates, and troubleshooting.
- Integration of virtualized environments with SAN/NAS storage.
- Virtual infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.

4. Backup & Disaster Recovery





- Enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam, Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, or equivalent.
- Backup scheduling, retention policies, recovery testing, and restore validation.
- Storage replication, disaster recovery planning, and DR drills.
- Understanding of RPO, RTO, business continuity, and high availability.

5. Monitoring, Networking & Security

- Infrastructure monitoring, alerting, capacity management, and root-cause analysis.
- TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing fundamentals, and network troubleshooting.
- Server hardening, access management, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Performance monitoring using platform-native tools or enterprise monitoring solutions.

Mandatory Requirements

- Minimum 8 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of enterprise servers, storage, and virtualization.
- Mandatory certification in VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Experience in at least two large-scale enterprise infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience in server administration, SAN/NAS storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- CSNE certification preferred.
- Experience with enterprise storage arrays and Fibre Channel SAN environments.
- Experience with high availability, clustering, replication, and disaster recovery implementations.
- Candidates currently based in Nagpur or willing to work in Nagpur will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should be a hands-on infrastructure professional who understands the complete server and storage stack, from physical server hardware and operating systems to virtualization, SAN/NAS storage, backup, and disaster recovery. Candidates should be able to independently troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and support mission-critical enterprise environments.
