Welfyn is seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to serve as Principal Officer for its AI/ML-powered investment advisory platform. The candidate will assist in investment research, portfolio analysis, quantitative model oversight, and regulatory compliance in accordance with applicable SEBI Investment Adviser (IA) regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead investment research, asset allocation, portfolio construction, optimisation, and risk assessment.
- Oversee AI/ML-driven investment advisory models, portfolio recommendations, backtesting, and risk controls.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI IA regulations, client risk profiling, suitability assessments, disclosures, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain investment advisory policies, SOPs, audit trails, and regulatory records.
- Monitor market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and portfolio performance.
- Coordinate with technology teams to ensure transparent, explainable, and compliant automated investment recommendations.

Mandatory Qualifications:





- Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, or an equivalent qualification meeting applicable SEBI requirements.
- Valid NISM Series X-A and X-B certifications are mandatory. Candidates without both valid certifications will not be considered.
- Relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, wealth management, or investment advisory.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio theory, risk management, and SEBI IA regulations.
- Knowledge of quantitative analysis, Python, SQL, or financial modelling is preferred.

Preferred Experience: Experience with SEBI-registered Investment Advisers, fintech companies, or algorithm-driven investment platforms. Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
