Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager (CG-4)

Job Profile & Responsibilities For Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager (CG-4)

Audit Planning & Execution

- Develop tailored, risk-based operational audit programs for assigned plant areas, integrating Key Data Statistics extracted from SAP S/4HANA and MIS reports.
- Build and execute detailed Risk & Control Matrices (RCM), Initial Data Requirements (IDR), and sample testing methodologies for plant-level manufacturing operations.
- Perform comprehensive operational audits across steel manufacturing units, power generation facilities, inventory/stores, procurement, logistics, maintenance, and quality control processes.

Pre-Audit & Financial Review

- Audit Purchase Orders (POs), contracts, and invoice transactions to ensure strict alignment with Delegation of Financial Powers (DOFP) and company guidelines.
- Validate financial accuracy, statutory compliance, and physical verification of inventory, capital assets, and plant and machinery.

SOP & Internal Controls Framework

- Evaluate existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), financial policies, Delegation of Financial Powers (DOFP), and SAP automated controls to recommend robust internal control enhancements.




- Conduct gap analysis in operational workflows to prevent revenue leakage, operational waste, and non-compliance risks.

Audit Reporting & Risk Rating

- Independently draft clear, high-impact Internal Audit Reports incorporating risk-rated findings (High/Medium/Low), root cause analysis, evidence-backed observations, and actionable management recommendations.

For Manager (CG-4)

Audit Report Discussions

- Lead discussions on draft and final audit reports with auditees, Function Heads, and HODs to obtain agreed Management Action Plans and target completion timelines.

Action Taken Reports (ATR) & Tracking

- Track and evaluate management action items from previous audit cycles, conducting follow-ups and preparing comprehensive Action Taken Reports (ATR).

Special Assignments & Management Requests

- Execute special audit assignments, continuous control monitoring, stock audits, cost-optimisation studies, and investigations as requested by Senior Management or the Audit Committee.

Stakeholder & Co-Source Coordination

- Maintain solid collaborative relationships with plant operational teams, corporate leadership, and co-sourced external audit firms to drive se
