About the RoleWe’re looking for an Interior Designer & Stylist who can bring spaces to life using the Folk Studio catalogue of furniture, lighting, furnishings and decor.

This is a hands-on, multidisciplinary role that combines spatial planning, interior styling, furniture and accessories design, and collaboration with interior designers and architects. From curating a living room using our catalogue to helping a designer furnish an entire project, you’ll work across the entire journey of translating products into beautiful, functional spaces.

You’ll also help shape how customers discover and experience our products — through our website, our in-house design app, and real-world styling projects.

What You’ll Do1. Space Planning & Interior Styling

- Plan layouts and curate spaces using products from the Folk Studio catalogue.
- Develop room concepts, mood boards, furniture layouts and styling recommendations for residential and commercial spaces.
- Offer virtual styling and space-planning support to customers and interior designers.
- Execute on-site styling for select projects, ensuring the final space comes together cohesively.

2. Furniture & Accessories Design

- Conceptualise and design furniture, lighting and home accessories that align with the Folk Studio design language.
- Develop design concepts, references, sketches and specifications for new products.
- Work with the internal team and manufacturing partners to translate ideas into production-ready designs.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in our existing catalogue based on customer needs,



design trends and project requirements.

3. Interior Designer & Architect Partnerships

- Work directly with interior designers and architects to understand their project requirements and recommend suitable products from our catalogue.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), product selections and furnishing proposals for complete projects.
- Help designers bring together furniture, lighting, rugs, textiles, art and accessories into cohesive design schemes.
- Build strong working relationships with design professionals and support them throughout the project journey, from initial brief to final selection.

4. Digital Space Curation

- Curate inspiring room settings and product combinations for the Folk Studio website.
- Use the in-house Folk Studio design app to create layouts, furnish spaces and demonstrate how our products work together.
- Develop virtual room concepts and visual references that help customers and designers imagine products in their own spaces.
- Collaborate with the team to continuously improve how our catalogue is presented, discovered and used to design spaces.

What We’re Looking For
- A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Spatial Design or a related discipline.




- Approximately 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior design, styling, furniture design or a related field.
- A strong design sensibility, with an eye for proportion, materials, colour, texture and detail.
- The ability to plan functional layouts and create cohesive spaces using an existing product catalogue.
- Experience with furniture design, product development or accessories design is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in relevant design tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
- Strong visual communication skills, including the ability to create mood boards, layouts, presentations and styling proposals.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and briefs simultaneously.
- A collaborative, solution-oriented approach and the confidence to work directly with designers, architects, vendors and customers.
