About the Role

We are looking for a detailed-oriented and skilled Interior Cutting List Specialist / Modular Drafter to join our team in Karunagappally, Kollam. In this role, you will be responsible for converting approved interior production designs into accurate, optimized panel cutting lists, material estimation sheets, and hardware requirements for modular furniture production.

Note: This is an in office position. Candidates must be residing in/around Karunagappally, Kollam, or be willing to relocate/commute daily.

Key Responsibilities

- Cutting List Generation: Translate 2D/3D interior designs, production drawings, and elevations into precise panel cutting lists (plywood, MDF, particle board, laminates, veneer, edge-banding, etc.).
- Material Optimization: Utilize nesting/cutting optimization software (e.g., CutList Plus, OptiCut, Alphacam, WoodWOP, or similar) to minimize material waste and maximize panel yield.
- BOM & Hardware Calculation: Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM), including structural fittings, hinges, drawer channels, handles, edge bands, and accessories.
- Factory & Site Coordination: Collaborate closely with interior designers, production managers, and CNC/panel saw operators to resolve technical discrepancies before manufacturing.
- Quality Check:



Ensure off-site cutting lists strictly align with site measurement dimensions and client specifications.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 1–3+ years of experience in creating cutting lists and production drawings for modular kitchens, wardrobes, and custom interior furniture.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / Production Software / Cabinet Vision / CutList Plus or equivalent panel optimization tools.
- Deep understanding of modular furniture construction, joinery techniques, edge-banding, and hardware specifications (Hettich, Blum, Ebco, Hafele, etc.).
- Knowledge of material allowances, laminate thicknesses, and blade margin deductions.
- Education: Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Mechanical Engineering, ITI Draughtsman, or equivalent practical experience in modular interior production.
- Location & Travel: Must be based in Karunagappally/Kollam or ready to relocate/commute daily to the Karunagappally office.

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience working directly with panel saw machine operators or CNC operators.
- Strong numerical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills under tight production timelines.
