Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Drone Training Instructor to lead our training programs. In this role, you will be responsible for educating and certifying the next generation of drone pilots and technicians. You will deliver high-quality theoretical and practical instruction, ensuring all students understand flight safety, aviation regulations, and advanced drone operations, while aligning our training curriculum with DGCA guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Delivery: Conduct classroom lectures and hands-on flight training sessions covering drone aerodynamics, meteorology, navigation, and emergency procedures.

Flight Instruction: Guide students through simulator training and live, open-field flight operations safely.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all training programs strictly adhere to Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) regulations and internal safety standards.





Student Assessment: Evaluate students' flight proficiency, technical knowledge, and safety discipline, providing constructive feedback.

Maintenance Support: Assist in maintaining the training fleet, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and ensuring equipment is always flight-ready.

Curriculum Upgrades: Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to update training materials reflecting the latest software updates and hardware designs of Wingspann Global's proprietary drones.

Required Skills & Experience

Certifications: Must possess a valid Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) issued by a DGCA-approved Remote Pilot Training Organization (RPTO).

Flight Experience: Minimum of 12 years of active drone piloting experience across multiple categories (e.g., Micro, Small, Medium) and platforms (Multi-rotor/Fixed-wing).

Instructional Experience: Prior experience as a Drone Instructor or Trainer is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge: Robust understanding of drone assembly, telemetry systems, flight controllers (e.g., Pixhawk), and ground control software (e.g., Mission Planner, QGroundControl).

Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred to connect with local trainees). Strong patience and a safety-first mindset.
