Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and technically sound IT Executive to support Palmonas retail stores. The candidate will be responsible for resolving day-to-day IT issues across stores, maintaining the smooth functioning of billing systems and IT equipment, troubleshooting network connectivity, and coordinating with the central IT team and external vendors to minimize disruptions to store operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide IT support to Palmonas retail stores and ensure the smooth functioning of store-level IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to laptops, desktops, printers, billing systems, POS machines, barcode scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Support store operations by ensuring the proper functioning of billing systems, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, and network devices.
- Coordinate with the central IT team and external vendors to resolve technical issues, arrange repairs, and manage replacements.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT hardware, software, and peripherals across retail stores.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including equipment allocation, inventory, repairs, and replacements.
- Provide remote and on-site IT support to stores, as required.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT issues that may affect billing, customer service, inventory management, or daily store operations.




- Support the setup of IT equipment for new store openings and coordinate IT requirements during store launches.
- Conduct routine checks of store IT equipment and escalate recurring technical issues to the central IT team.
- Maintain documentation of IT tickets, issue resolution, asset movement, and vendor coordination.
- Follow company IT policies and ensure basic system security and access control practices are maintained across stores.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or IT infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
- Experience in troubleshooting POS systems, printers, barcode scanners, and other retail IT equipment is preferred.
- Good coordination and communication skills to work with store teams, vendors, and the central IT team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize issues based on business impact.
- Willingness to travel to retail stores for on-site technical support, whenever required.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting IT operations in retail stores, fashion, jewellery, or other multi-location businesses.
- Familiarity with POS billing systems, inventory management systems, and retail technology.
- Experience supporting new store openings and IT equipment installations.
