About the Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Industrial Designer to design and develop innovative, functional, and user-friendly products. The candidate will work closely with the R&D;, hardware, and engineering teams to develop product concepts, improve existing designs, and support the development of product prototypes.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop industrial products, equipment, and product enclosures.
- Create 2D drawings, 3D models, and product renderings using CAD software.
- Develop product concepts, sketches, prototypes, and design layouts.
- Design and improve product ergonomics, aesthetics, usability, and functionality.
- Collaborate with hardware, electronics, mechanical, and R&D; teams to ensure design compatibility.
- Work on the design of device housings, control panels, and components for testing equipment.
- Select suitable materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturing teams for prototype development and production.
- Conduct design reviews, identify improvements, and incorporate feedback.
- Prepare technical drawings, design specifications, and product documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field.




- Proficiency in CAD and 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of product prototyping, materials, manufacturing processes, and design principles.
- Understanding of ergonomics, product aesthetics, and user-centred design.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and convert them into practical product designs.
- Good problem-solving, visualization, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience designing electronic devices, laboratory equipment, medical devices, or testing instruments.
- Knowledge of 3D printing, rapid prototyping, and enclosure design.
- Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly).
- A portfolio showcasing product designs, CAD models, and prototypes.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
