Information about the role:

Emeritus is seeking an Industry Subject Matter Expert in Sterring Complex Projects for our School Partner Cambridge Judge. The SME is a part-time position with expertise in Project Management.

This role will develop assessment activities and review course content for an online course designed and developed in partnership with Cambridge Judge. The candidate must have proven experience providing subject matter expertise, developing project management standards, supporting complex initiatives, and advising cross-functional teams and senior leadership The Successful candidate provides specialized expertise, strategic guidance, and best practices in project management methodologies, processes, tools, governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement,



and continuous process improvement.

This is a outstanding role for someone who wants work flexibility and the chance to diversify their resume with consultancy and teaching experience. This is an independent contractor position in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Subject Matter Expert include but are not limited to:

- Design and develop course materials for the following audiences:
- C-Suite professionals, entrepreneurs, and senior leaders
- Design and develop assessments and activities that:
- Provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate an understanding of key skills and concepts related to digital transformation, including asynchronous discussions, quizzes with robust feedback, and assignments.
- Align with pre-determined, measurable learning objectives.
- Develop supplemental materials, such as course project documents
- Thoroughly review course materials and provide feedback to ensure accuracy and quality The materials include but are not limited to the following:
- Draft videos
- Completed modules in the learning management system (Canvas)
- Adhere to strict weekly deadlines for materials
- Complete timely reviews of videos and other course materials (24-hour turnaround time)




- Attend regular meetings with stakeholders.

Qualifications for the role:

- 10+ years of extensive work experience in project or program management.
- Master’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- PMI-ACP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PRINCE2, or PgMP certification.
- Experience supporting enterprise-wide programs and complex transformation initiatives.
- Experience establishing or improving PMO capabilities.
- Strong understanding of organizational change management.
- Experience developing executive dashboards and project performance reports.
- Familiarity with portfolio management and strategic resource planning.
- Experience supporting executive or mid-career professionals in continuing education is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills with an ability to listen effectively, respond appropriately, and maintain a mutual comfort level while working with a diverse population.
- Ability to translate technical content into actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage weekly cycles of engagement and support.
