About Sublime Data

Sublime Data is a boutique data engineering and AI consulting firm. We help clients modernize their data platforms and put agentic AI to work. We’re a growing team in Ahmedabad, and as we scale, we want someone who can shape how we hire and how our people experience working here.

What you'll doRecruitment (about 60% of the role)

- Own end-to-end hiring for technical roles (developers, data engineers, QA, DevOps) and non-technical roles (sales, interns, operations)
- Understand role requirements with the founders and draft job descriptions
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, referrals, campus networks, and other channels
- Screen resumes, conduct first-round HR interviews, and coordinate technical rounds
- Manage offers, salary discussions, background checks, and joining formalities
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline for urgent client requirements
- Run campus and intern hiring drives

HR operations (about 25%)

- Onboarding and induction for new joiners
- Employee records, offer and appointment letters, and HR documentation
- Attendance, leave management, and monthly payroll inputs (in coordination with our payroll and compliance partner)
- Timesheet tracking for engineers working on client engagements
- Draft and maintain HR policies (leave, attendance, code of conduct, and similar)




- Exit formalities and full-and-final settlement coordination
- Plan employee engagement activities, celebrations, and team events
- First point of contact for employee queries

Administration (about 15%)

- Day-to-day office administration and facility management
- Vendor coordination (IT equipment, supplies, housekeeping, and so on)
- Support the founders with general administrative tasks

What we're looking for
- Graduate or postgraduate in HR, business administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of HR experience, including at least 1 year of IT or technical recruitment
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Comfortable with LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri, and similar job portals
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Google Workspace, and HR documentation
- Organized and self-driven, able to work independently in a small team
- Understanding of tech roles and stacks (Data engineer, React, Node.js, Python, AWS, and so on) is a robust plus
