Commercial Manager

Job Purpose To manage project commercial activities, control costs, maximise financial recovery, maintain cash flow and minimise contractual risks.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor project budgets, costs, revenue and financial forecasts.
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
- Manage cash flow and ensure timely client payments.
- Negotiate variations, claims and contracts with clients.
- Manage procurement, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure contractual compliance and proper documentation.
- Lead and develop the Quantity Surveying team.
- Prepare commercial reports and advise project management.

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.




- 15+ years of total experience.
- 35 years of relevant commercial management experience on similar projects.
- Robust knowledge of construction contracts, cost control and negotiation.

Key Skills Commercial management, contract administration, financial analysis, negotiation, leadership and MS Office.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Cost control, timely payment recovery, project profitability, cash flow management and risk mitigation.
