Role Description This is a full-time, in office Business Development Manager (International Business) role based in Ahmedabad, focused on pharma finished formulations for Asian and ROW markets. The role involves identifying and developing new international business opportunities, managing existing customers, and expanding market presence in assigned territories. The BDM will handle regular communication with overseas clients, coordinate inquiries, negotiate pricing and contract terms, and follow up on orders to ensure timely execution.

Responsibilities include collaborating with regulatory, logistics, and production teams for documentation, product registration, and shipment planning,



as well as tracking sales performance and preparing periodic business reports. The position requires close monitoring of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to recommend strategic initiatives and support sustainable business growth.

Qualifications

- Relevant experience of 1–3 years in international business development within the pharmaceutical finished formulations segment (Asian and/or ROW markets).
- Strong skills in client relationship management, market research, and negotiation to drive new and repeat business.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams (regulatory, logistics, production, finance) and manage end-to-end export processes.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional international language skills are an advantage.
- Sound understanding of global pharmaceutical regulations, documentation requirements, and quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Management, or a related field; a specialized qualification in pharma international business is preferred.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with strong organizational and time-management skills.
