Role Overview: Seeking an accomplished academic leader to head the Department of Public Policy. The ideal candidate will mentor faculty, drive curriculum innovation, and strengthen research and institutional collaborations in the field of social sciences and public policy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Mentor faculty and promote teaching excellence, research, and professional development.

- Oversee curriculum design, review, and implementation in line with UGC norms.

- Contribute to academic governance through Boards of Studies and curriculum committees.

- Maintain robust research output, publications, funded projects, and doctoral mentoring.

- Build partnerships with government institutions, think tanks, NGOs, and research organizations.

- Lead consultancy, policy advisory, and governance research initiatives.

Eligibility:

- Ph.D. in Public Policy or related discipline with 15+ years of academic experience.

- Experience as Professor with leadership in academic administration.

- Proven contributions to curriculum development, governance, and institutional growth.

- Prior leadership experience as HOD or equivalent role preferred.
