Job highlights

- MTech in Power Electronics with 5-10 years in Indian power conversion hardware and experience in DC charger standards and SolidWorks

- Own electrical architecture, design cabinets, replace imported parts with Indian components, manage certifications, run R&D; lab, deploy pilot units, and oversee manufacturing

Zynetic builds modular DC quick chargers from 120 kW to 400 kW. The European version is already deploying. We need one engineer to indigenise it for India Indian components, Indian cost, Indian certification, proven at pilot sites.

The job

- Own the product: electrical architecture, power train, thermal design

- Design the cabinet in SolidWorks and release fabrication-ready DXF, STEP and GA drawings

- Replace imported components with Indian ones, and prove every substitution

- Bring the cost down: BOM teardowns, should-cost analysis, a cost-per-kW target each quarter

- Secure ICAT and IS 17017 certification, and carry it through every design change





- Run the R&D; lab two or three engineers to start

- Deploy pilot units at sites across India and close out what the field finds

- Oversee the contract manufacturer who builds the units

You must have

- MTech in Power Electronics or Relevant
- A product you built from scratch, concept through to first production build

- Working experience at a production or assembly site

- 5 - 10 years experience in Indian power conversion hardware: chargers, solar inverters, rectifiers, UPS or traction converters

- Power electronics: PFC, isolated DC-DC, 200–1000 V output, thermal derating at 50 C

- DC charger know-how: CCS2, DIN 70121, ISO 15118, insulation monitoring, contactor weld detection, OCPP

- SolidWorks at production level, plus working Fusion 360

- A product taken through ICAT, ARAI or BIS

- Willing to travel to pilot sites and work on the unit yourself
