KPT Piping System Pvt. Ltd. deals in piping solutions for plumbing, water supply, HVAC, and industrial applications. The company is expanding its business in government departments, particularly Military Engineer Services (MES) and Indian Railways, and is seeking experienced professionals to develop government sales across the assigned territory.

We are looking for an experienced Government Sales skilled to develop business for KPT piping products in MES and Indian Railways. The candidate will be responsible for direct field sales, government department relationships, project identification, and order generation.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop government sales business with MES and Indian Railways.
- Establish and maintain relationships with government officials, railway engineers, MES officers, contractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct regular field visits to government offices, railway divisions, project sites, and engineering departments.
- Identify upcoming government projects related to plumbing, water supply, HVAC, building infrastructure, and piping requirements.
- Generate leads and develop business opportunities for KPT piping products.
- Meet customers to explain product applications, technical specifications, and product benefits.
- Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, product approvals, technical support, and order execution.
- Follow up on project requirements,



purchase opportunities, orders, and customer payments.
- Monitor government project developments and maintain a database of potential projects and customers.
- Prepare regular sales reports, customer visit reports, and business forecasts.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and expand government business within the allocated zone.

Candidate Profile
- Graduate in any discipline; an engineering qualification or MBA will be an advantage.
- 5–10 years of experience in government sales, institutional sales, or government business development.
- Prior experience handling MES and Indian Railways accounts is strongly preferred.
- Experience selling piping systems, pumps, valves, HVAC equipment, plumbing products, or allied engineering products will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and customer relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.

Important Selection Criteria Candidates with hands-on experience in developing business with MES and Indian Railways through direct field visits, government customer relationships, project identification, and order generation will be preferred.

The role is focused on government customer development and field sales, rather than candidates whose experience is limited to tender preparation or back-office tender documentation.
