Job Title: Google Cloud Engineer GCVE / GKE

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud VMware Engine (GCVE), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and GCP networking to lead and support cloud infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Terraform, firewall rule management, GCP Landing Zones, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Key Responsibilities
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot GCP firewall rules, VPCs, subnets, routes, and network connectivity.
- Manage GCP Landing Zones and implement firewall and networking changes in accordance with cloud security standards.
- Support GCVE infrastructure, including networking, connectivity, and hybrid cloud integration requirements.
- Support GKE environments and troubleshoot networking and connectivity-related issues.
- Design, configure, and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions using Cloud VPN, Cloud Interconnect, and BGP.
- Use Terraform to automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and networking configuration.
- Troubleshoot network routing, firewall, and connectivity issues across GCP environments.




- Implement approved network changes and handle infrastructure service requests and incidents.
- Collaborate with customer teams and stakeholders to resolve outstanding GCVE implementation and operational tasks.
- Maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Participate in knowledge transfer, operational handovers, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience
- Hands-on experience with GCVE and GCP networking in enterprise cloud environments.
- Practical knowledge of GKE, Terraform, and cloud infrastructure automation.
- Experience managing GCP Landing Zones, firewall policies, VPCs, subnets, and routing.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hybrid cloud networking and connectivity.
- Experience supporting production infrastructure, incident management, and change management.

Preferred Skills
- Google Cloud certifications such as Professional Cloud Network Engineer or Skilled Cloud Architect.
- Knowledge of VMware infrastructure and hybrid cloud migration.
- Understanding of cloud security, network segmentation, and infrastructure governance.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud operations best practices.
