Position: Senior Godown Supervisor

Godown Supervisor – Roles and Responsibilities
Roles:
1. Supervise day-to-day activities in the godown or warehouse.
2. Ensure smooth movement of goods — receiving, storing, and dispatching.
3. Lead and guide the godown staff for efficient operations.
4. Act as a link between the logistics, purchase, and accounts departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate records of stock, receipts, and dispatches.
2. Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and secure storage of goods.
3. Conduct regular stock verification and report discrepancies.
4. Monitor loading and unloading of goods to avoid damage or loss.
5. Keep the godown clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
6. Prepare daily or weekly stock and movement reports for management.
7. Prevent theft, damage, and wastage of materials.
8. Ensure timely dispatch of goods as per schedule.
9. Check condition of goods and report any issues immediately.
10. Supervise staff attendance, discipline, and performance.
