We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CAD Operator with experience in Gerber and the baby girls readymade garment industry.
The candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying accurate CAD patterns, pattern grading, sample corrections and coordinating with the Design and Production teams to ensure accurate and timely pattern development.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify accurate garment patterns using Gerber as per design specifications.
- Develop production-ready patterns for baby girls readymade garments.
- Perform accurate pattern grading according to required size specifications.
- Review samples and make necessary pattern corrections for proper fit and design.
- Coordinate with the Fashion Design and Production teams to understand requirements.
- Check pattern measurements, construction details and accuracy before production.
- Resolve technical issues related to pattern development and CAD files.
- Make necessary modifications based on sample fitting and production feedback.
- Maintain organized CAD files and pattern records for each design.
- Coordinate with the Production and Cutting teams for smooth execution of styles.
- Ensure all approved patterns are properly maintained and available for production.
- Stay updated with relevant garment industry trends and advancements in CAD technology.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Gerber CAD Operator in the fashion/apparel industry.
- Valuable working knowledge of Gerber and relevant CAD tools.
- Strong knowledge of pattern making, pattern grading and garment construction.
- Experience in baby girls readymade garments will be preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with good accuracy and precision.
- Ability to understand design requirements and convert them into technical patterns.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
