Chief Warden – Boys' HostelsRole Description CGC Landran | Mohali, Punjab

CGC Landran is looking for an experienced, disciplined, and student-oriented professional to lead the administration and overall management of its boys' hostels, accommodating approximately 2,500 male students.

The ideal candidate will have robust leadership, administrative, and student-management skills, with the ability to ensure a safe, disciplined, and supportive residential environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Hostel Administration: Oversee the overall functioning and administration of all boys' hostels on campus.
- Student Discipline: Maintain discipline, enforce hostel rules, and address student grievances, conflicts, and behavioural issues.
- Team Management: Supervise hostel wardens, assistant wardens, security personnel, and supporting staff.
- Safety & Security: Ensure student safety, effective security arrangements, emergency preparedness, and compliance with institutional policies.
- Facilities Management: Monitor housekeeping, sanitation, maintenance, mess facilities, and other hostel amenities.
- Student Welfare: Promote a healthy residential environment, student well-being,



and positive conduct.
- Coordination: Liaise with the university administration, faculty, parents, security, medical services, and other departments as required.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain hostel records, attendance, incident reports, and regular operational reviews.

Eligibility & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any relevant discipline; preference for candidates with qualifications in management or administration.
- Significant experience in hostel administration, residential campus management, or institutional administration.
- Prior experience managing large student populations and supervising teams will be preferred.
- Strong communication, leadership, conflict-resolution, and crisis-management skills.
- High integrity, discipline, accountability, and a student-centric approach.
