Job Title: General Duty Assistant (GDA)
Department: Emergency Medical Services
Job Location: Domlur & BTR layout
Salary: ₹18,000–₹25,000 per month (depending on experience)
Duty Hours: 8-hour rotational shifts, including night shifts
Job Responsibilities
- Assist EMTs and paramedics during ambulance operations and patient transportation.
- Help patients board and exit the ambulance safely using stretchers or wheelchairs.
- Provide basic patient care and support during emergency transportation.
- Monitor patient comfort and immediately report any changes in condition to the EMT or medical team.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation inside the ambulance.
- Assist in handling and arranging basic medical equipment and supplies.
- Support patient transfers between hospitals, homes, and other healthcare facilities.
- Follow infection control protocols and emergency safety procedures.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: GDA certification or relevant healthcare training preferred.
- Experience: Prior hospital or ambulance experience is an advantage.
- Valuable communication and patient-handling skills.
- Physically fit to assist with patient lifting and transfers.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including nights.
- Must be responsible, punctual, and comfortable working in emergency situations.
