Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures on GCP.
- Define enterprise data models, data integration frameworks, and data management strategies.
- Architect and build modern data platforms leveraging GCP native services.
- Develop and maintain data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data processing solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analytics teams, and solution architects to understand requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.
- Establish data governance, metadata management, data quality, and security standards.
- Design batch and streaming data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Optimize data storage, processing performance, and cloud infrastructure costs.
- Drive architecture reviews and provide technical leadership to implementation teams.
- Ensure compliance with organizational, industry, and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and best practices.
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives involving on-premise and cloud-based data systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications





- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud data platform development.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience architecting solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Robust knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data lakes, and lakehouse architectures.
- Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Experience designing ETL/ELT frameworks and large-scale data pipelines.
- Knowledge of real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.
- Hands-on experience with data migration and modernization projects.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Experience with Git-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
