- Plan daily and weekly foundry production.
- Supervise sand preparation, moulding, core making, melting, pouring, cooling, shakeout and fettling.
- Monitor furnace operation, metal temperature and composition.
- Allocate workers and monitor manpower/productivity.
- Control casting rejection, rework and scrap; investigate recurring defects.
- Check casting quality and coordinate with the Quality department.
- Ensure proper consumption/control of pig iron, scrap, coke/furnace inputs, sand and other consumables.
- Coordinate machine/furnace breakdowns with Maintenance.
- Maintain production, rejection, downtime and material-consumption records.
- Ensure PPE, secure pouring practices, housekeeping and 5S.
- Improve yield, productivity and cycle time while reducing cost.
- Train operators and enforce SOPs/process parameters.
- Coordinate with machining/production planning so the correct castings are available when required.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
