About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) – AI / GenAI to work at the intersection of software engineering, artificial intelligence, product development, and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing, integrating, and deploying AI/GenAI solutions, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, and Agentic AI applications. The candidate should be capable of translating complex or ambiguous business requirements into practical, production-ready technical solutions.

This role involves end-to-end solution development, from understanding business problems and building prototypes to integrating systems, deploying solutions, and continuously improving performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with customers, product teams, and engineering teams to understand business requirements and technical challenges.
- Translate customer requirements into AI-powered applications, tools, and automated workflows.
- Build rapid Proofs of Concept (POCs) and prototypes, iterating based on feedback.
- Develop and deploy AI/GenAI solutions using LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI.
- Build AI agents and workflows using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
- Implement RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, memory, context engineering, and tool/function calling.
- Develop backend services and REST APIs using Python, FastAPI, or similar technologies.




- Integrate AI solutions with third-party APIs, databases, SaaS platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Troubleshoot deployment and production issues and ensure solution reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to transition successful prototypes into scalable production solutions.
- Optimize AI applications for accuracy, latency, scalability, reliability, and cost.
- Participate in customer discussions, technical demonstrations, solution workshops, and deployment activities.
- Maintain technical documentation covering integrations, workflows, architecture, and deployment processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, GenAI Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a related role.
- Strong programming skills in Python or another backend programming language.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI/GenAI applications.
- Good understanding of:
- Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- AI agents and agentic workflows
- Prompt engineering and context engineering
- Tool/function calling
- REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Experience integrating applications with external APIs, databases,



and enterprise systems.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle ambiguous requirements, and deliver practical solutions.
- Robust communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Willingness to work onsite in Gurugram and collaborate directly with customers and internal teams.

Good to Have
- Hands-on experience with LangChain and LangGraph.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, or pgvector.
- Familiarity with FastAPI and databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerized deployments.
- Understanding of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and multi-agent systems.
- Exposure to Voice AI, Conversational AI, Speech-to-Text (STT), and Text-to-Speech (TTS).
- Familiarity with AI evaluation, monitoring, observability, and performance optimization.
