Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Financial Counselling

- Explain estimated treatment costs, package rates, and hospital charges to patients and their families.

- Provide cost estimates for planned surgeries, procedures, and inpatient admissions.

- Explain billing procedures, deposits, advance payments, and final settlement requirements.

- Address patient and family queries related to treatment expenses.

1. Insurance &
- Corporate Coordination

- Coordinate with the insurance and TPA (Third Party Administrator) departments regarding patient coverage and benefits.

- Explain insurance eligibility, exclusions, co-payments, deductibles, and non-payable expenses.

- Guide patients through cashless treatment approvals and reimbursement procedures.

- Coordinate with corporate clients and government health schemes, wherever applicable.

1. Financial Planning &
- Payment Support

- Discuss available payment options and hospital-approved financial assistance schemes.

- Help patients understand their estimated out-of-pocket expenses.

- Escalate financial difficulties to the appropriate hospital authorities for review.

- Coordinate with billing and finance teams regarding deposits, outstanding balances, and payment settlements.

1. Admission &
- Discharge Coordination





- Counsel patients before admission regarding expected treatment costs and payment requirements.

- Follow up on financial approvals and advance payments.

- Coordinate with the billing team to ensure timely discharge clearance.

- Explain the final bill and clarify discrepancies or billing-related concerns.

1. Documentation &
- Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of financial counselling sessions and patient acknowledgements.

- Document cost estimates, insurance details, approvals, and payment discussions.

- Prepare daily and monthly reports on patient counselling, pending approvals, and financial issues.

- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and compliance with hospital policies.

1. Patient Satisfaction &
- Coordination

- Communicate financial information with empathy, professionalism, and transparency.

- Resolve patient concerns related to costs and billing through appropriate coordination.

- Work closely with doctors, nursing teams, billing, insurance, and admission departments.

- Support the hospital in improving patient satisfaction and reducing billing-related complaints.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
