Role Description The Fashion Designer role at darlet is a full-time, in office position located in Ludhiana. In this role, the designer will develop original concepts, create sketches and technical drawings, and translate ideas into samples and final garments. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching trends, fabrics, colors, and silhouettes, collaborating with production teams, and ensuring designs align with brand identity and quality standards.

The designer will participate in fittings, refine patterns,



and work closely with merchandising and marketing to present cohesive collections. This role involves managing design timelines, maintaining design documentation, and supporting continuous improvement in product design and development.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in fashion illustration, sketching, and creating technical drawings.
- Experience with garment construction, pattern development, and fabric selection.
- Understanding of fashion trends, color theory, and market research for apparel design.
- Proficiency with design tools and software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar applications).
- Ability to collaborate with production, merchandising, and marketing teams to deliver cohesive collections.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple design projects and deadlines.
- Relevant education in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in a fashion design role, especially in apparel manufacturing or brand environments, is an advantage.
