Job Purpose

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Façade Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in façade systems, architectural detailing, and technical drawings. The candidate will be responsible for developing façade design solutions, preparing technical drawings, coordinating with architects and project teams, and ensuring that designs meet project specifications, performance requirements, and applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop façade design concepts, layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed technical drawings based on architectural designs and project requirements.
- Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation details, and material specifications for façade systems.
- Work on architectural façade solutions, including external cladding, sun-control systems, louvers, screens, and other building envelope products, as applicable.
- Interpret architectural drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and project documents to develop suitable façade solutions.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, project managers, and execution teams to resolve design-related queries.
- Ensure design accuracy, constructability, dimensional coordination, and compliance with project specifications and relevant standards.
- Review site measurements and project requirements to incorporate necessary changes into design drawings.




- Identify potential design conflicts and propose practical, cost-effective, and aesthetically appropriate solutions.
- Incorporate design revisions based on client feedback, site conditions, and engineering requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely delivery of drawings and design submissions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in façade design, architectural detailing, building envelope systems, or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other relevant design software will be an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, elevations, sections, and construction details.
- Understanding of façade materials, fixing systems, cladding details, and installation methodologies.
- Good knowledge of technical documentation, shop drawings, and material specifications.
- Robust attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and spatial visualization skills.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet design submission deadlines.

Preferred Experience
- Experience with commercial, residential, institutional, or other large-scale architectural projects.
- Exposure to aluminium systems, metal cladding, architectural louvers, solar shading, and façade screening solutions.
- Familiarity with fabrication drawings, site coordination, and installation requirements.
- Experience working with architects, façade consultants, contractors, or architectural product manufacturers.
