About the Role: The Facilities Manager is responsible for keeping the resort’s buildings, utilities, grounds, and equipment protected, functional, and guest-ready. This includes planning and carrying out routine maintenance, handling repairs, coordinating technicians and vendors, and making sure every room and common area meets quality and safety standards. As Guest Relations, the same person is the guests’ point of contact for arrivals, requests, and resolving issues.

What we expect; experience, exposure:

- This position requires management experience, preferably in hospitality
- Manage the resort’s facilities and guest relations, including lodging, food and beverage areas, housekeeping, attractions, and guest services
- Be in charge of facilities staff, maintenance, customer service, and quality control
- Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical,



and plumbing work is preferred
- Must communicate effectively with guests, management, and staff members regarding reservations
- Oversee product stocking, accounting, and marketing efforts at the resort
- Multilingual preferred, English is required
- Social media exposure is preferred

Job responsibilities:

- Greet guests at arrival, create standards surveys, and find acceptable solutions to problems that may arise.
- Should be able to handle large to small groups in a professional, creative, positive, and team-centered manner
- Ensure that all supplies, from housekeeping materials to furniture, are in good condition and in stock
- Monitor customer billing and facilities expense accounts
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of rooms, buildings, utilities, and grounds
- Handle or supervise basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs, and coordinate outside technicians for major work
- Conduct room, kitchen, and grounds inspections to make sure that they are all up to code.
- Coordinate housekeeping, guest arrival/departures, communication with kitchen regarding meals
- Keep abreast of local happenings so you can book tours or recommend activities to guests unfamiliar with the area.
- Coordinate functions or events for your guests.
- Be in charge of hiring, training, and scheduling new staff members.
- Maintain employee records and fire ineffective employees.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Should be able to manage the resort’s social media postings and engagement
- Excellence in customer service
