Plays a crucial role in determining the total product cost associated with manufacturing or producing a product in Supply chain to generate cost opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Set component cost targets based on "should costing" methodology.
Collaborate with plants to make investment analysis, business cases and cost reduction initiatives to achieve Cost Out target.
Cost estimation & analysis for new project/Recent Code/new product lines to achieve project target/Milestone.
Support Make or Buy, negotiation and relocation decisions
Track actual costs, benchmark with other zones costing, propose process improvement initiatives and lead actions to close target cost gap
Generate business case to drive continuous cost leadership together with CCL and Supply modular projects.
Execute global benchmarking for deep cost driven in each zone.
Should-costing activities for purchasing price leadership in supply chain.

Professional experience
810 year experience in product costing as Mechanical/Electrical Engineer
Aware about product costing & pricing, project costing will be added advantage.
