? About BVG India Limited

BVG India Limited, in partnership with the Government of Maharashtra, Department of Public Health, launched the Maharashtra Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) on 26th January 2014, with the objective of providing emergency medical assistance to the people of Maharashtra.

Under this initiative, free ambulance services are provided across Maharashtra through the toll-free emergency helpline 108.

We are looking for a qualified, dynamic, and result-oriented professional to join our team as District Manager – MEMS in Amravati, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate should be passionate about serving the community and capable of managing emergency medical service operations effectively.

? Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee district-level operations of the 108 Emergency Ambulance Services.
- Lead, supervise, and manage field staff in a 24×7 emergency service environment.
- Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), response time targets, and service quality standards.
- Coordinate with the District Administration, Civil Surgeon, government authorities, and other key stakeholders.
- Ensure ambulance fleet readiness and operational efficiency.




- Manage manpower planning, staff deployment, and attendance monitoring.
- Monitor MIS reports, analyse operational performance, and handle escalations.
- Coordinate with hospitals, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Conduct district-level review meetings and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
- Support community awareness initiatives related to emergency medical services.

? Qualifications & Experience

- MBA / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a relevant discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in operations management.
- Experience in government liaison, stakeholder coordination, and field operations is preferred.
- Solid leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
