Key Responsibilities

ERP maintenance and support

- Maintain, debug and optimise the existing ERP application and its database.

- Resolve bugs, performance issues and data problems within agreed timelines.

- Manage deployments, releases and configuration across environments.

- Monitor application health, backups and security on cloud infrastructure.

Enhancements and department requirements

- Gather and analyse requirements from departments such as Tender, Fleet, Procurement, Stores, Accounts and Projects.

- Design, develop and test new features, reports and workflows in the existing ERP.

- Assess the impact of each change and follow a structured change-approval and release process.

Structuring and documentation

- Document the existing ERP end to end: modules, business logic, database schema, integrations and configuration.

- Establish and maintain source control, coding standards and release notes.

- Maintain technical and user documentation for every change delivered.

Migration to the new ERP

- Map data structures and business rules from the existing ERP to the recent platform.

- Build and run data extraction, transformation and validation scripts.

- Reconcile migrated data with business users and resolve discrepancies.

- Support parallel running, integrations and the phased decommissioning of the existing system.

Requirements





- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field (B.Tech, BCA, MCA or equivalent).

- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in .NET development, preferably on business applications or ERP systems.

- Good skills in C#, ASP.NET (MVC / Web Forms) and .NET Core / .NET 6+.

- Good SQL Server skills: T-SQL, stored procedures and query writing.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure (App Service, Virtual Machines, Azure SQL) and AWS (EC2, RDS, S3), including deploying applications on the cloud.

- Working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/CSS and REST APIs.

- Hands-on experience with Git and IIS deployment.

- Exposure to data migration or ETL between systems.

- Ability to document systems clearly and to work directly with non-technical users.

- A strong learning attitude, ownership of deliverables and willingness to adapt to our processes.

Preferred

- Experience with ERP systems in construction, infrastructure, EPC or railway companies.

- Familiarity with Entity Framework, SSIS or similar ETL tools, and reporting tools (SSRS, Crystal Reports or Power BI).

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).

- Microsoft or AWS certifications.
