Job Summary The Dialysis Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining dialysis equipment, preparing patients for dialysis procedures, monitoring patients during treatment, and ensuring strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

- Prepare dialysis machines, dialyzers, and related equipment before each procedure.
- Assess and prepare patients for dialysis under the supervision of the treating physician.
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition before, during, and after dialysis.
- Operate dialysis equipment safely according to prescribed treatment plans.
- Maintain proper aseptic techniques and infection prevention standards.
- Ensure appropriate handling and disposal of biomedical waste.
- Monitor dialysis parameters and promptly report any abnormalities or complications to the treating physician.
- Maintain accurate patient treatment records, machine logs, and documentation.
- Perform routine cleaning, disinfection,



and basic maintenance of dialysis equipment.
- Check water treatment systems and ensure compliance with applicable quality standards.
- Assist the medical team during emergencies and follow established emergency protocols.
- Educate patients and their attendants about dialysis procedures and basic care instructions, as appropriate.
- Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and patient confidentiality requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma, certificate, or degree in Dialysis Technology from a recognized institution.

Required Skills

- Good technical knowledge of dialysis machines and procedures.
- Strong patient care and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a clinical team.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately during emergencies.

Experience

- Experienced candidates with hands-on dialysis unit More than 2 experience will be preferred.
