Role Description

Manage and support end-to-end AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, and Lambda.
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to automate infrastructure provisioning.
- Manage AWS IAM roles, policies, access controls, encryption, and security configurations following AWS best practices.
- Configure and maintain AWS CloudWatch dashboards, metrics, alarms, and logs for system monitoring and performance management.
- Manage Amazon S3 storage, lifecycle policies, versioning, replication, encryption,



and access permissions.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide L2 operational support to ensure service reliability.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage Docker containers and support containerized workloads using Amazon EKS and ECS.
- Monitor AWS resource utilization, optimize cloud costs, and implement FinOps practices, including rightsizing and resource cleanup.
- Review high-level architecture designs and prepare low-level designs (LLDs), implementation plans, and technical documentation.
- Develop execution plans covering dependencies, milestones, testing, risk assessment, and rollback strategies.
- Implement AWS security and compliance controls using CloudTrail, GuardDuty, AWS Config, MFA, and encryption mechanisms.
- Perform system patching, AMI updates, backup validation, and disaster recovery support.
- Coordinate with development, operations, security, and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation, cutover, and handover.
- Prepare and maintain runbooks, as-built documentation, operational reports, and regular project status updates.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.

- 5–7 years of experience in DevOps, AWS Cloud Operations, Cloud Infrastructure, or a related role.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).

- Strong knowledge of Linux administration, networking, Python, and Shell scripting.

- Experience with AWS monitoring, security, storage management, and cloud cost optimization.

- Ability to prepare Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, implementation plans, and technical documentation.

- AWS Associate-level certification in Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer is preferred.

- AWS Professional-level or Specialty certification and FinOps Certified Practitioner certification are an added advantage.
