About the role

CashFlowCrew (cashflowcrew.in) conducts live workshops that teach Indian retail investors about mutual funds. Over 600 students have attended so far.

The founder is hiring a developer intern to work on some of the technical side of the business: the website, sales pages, tracking, and the WhatsApp groups for each workshop.

WHAT YOU GET

WHAT YOU WILL BUILD

- Members-only access on cashflowcrew.in, so that only paying members can view the research reports and tools
- Simple, low-cost hosting and deployment for the website
- Back-end updates to workshop dates, prices and content whenever required
- Setup and running of our mutual fund research system (existing code that generates reports for each fund) so it refreshes and publishes reports for members
- Test versions of the sales page (different prices, headlines and layouts), each with its own Cashfree checkout and thank-you page
- A link-naming system that traces every sale back to the exact page and ad it came from
- GA4 and Meta conversion events on every new page and thank-you page
- A permanent joining link on cashflowcrew.in that directs each buyer to the WhatsApp group for their workshop date

WHAT YOU WILL HANDLE FOR EACH WORKSHOP





- Create the WhatsApp group for every upcoming workshop within our WhatsApp Community. Groups are created 3 months in advance and named by date.
- Approve each join request against the Cashfree paid list. Nobody joins without a matching payment.
- Keep groups admin-only, pin the schedule, and set up the WhatsApp Event with the Zoom link
- Send every buyer a Google Calendar invite containing the Zoom link
- Send the “starting in 1 hour” and “we’re live” messages on time
- Never add anyone to a group using their phone number. People join only through the link.
- Respond to messages within 4 hours, between 9 am and 9 pm. Questions on which fund to buy or sell receive our fixed reply. You never give investment advice.
- Close every workshop group 2 weeks after the workshop
- Compare the Zoom attendance list with the buyer list after each workshop

WHAT YOU WILL REPORT EACH WEEK

- A Google Sheet showing, for each page version: visits, sales, conversion rate, cost per sale, show-up rate and upgrades to the full programme

WHAT YOU NEED

- Enough Python or JavaScript to read and modify code written by someone else
- An understanding of how APIs, webhooks and logins work
- At least one project you have deployed that is live on the internet
- Availability during every live workshop: [day and time]
- The ability to explain your work in plain English, as I am not a developer

DETAILS

- Duration: 3 months, can be extended
- Hours: around 15 hours a week, flexible, plus every live workshop slot
- Location: Remote, but you must live in Delhi NCR so we can meet in person occasionally
- Stipend: ₹5,000 per month (paid weekly), reviewed after 2 months based on your output
- Strong performers may be offered a higher-paid internship or a full-time role
