Role Description The Daycare Teacher role at Mount Olympus Juniors is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The teacher is responsible for supervising and caring for children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and emotional support throughout the day. Daily tasks include planning and conducting age-appropriate learning activities, games, and creative projects that support early childhood development.

The role involves maintaining a clean, organized classroom, assisting with meals and rest times, and monitoring children’s social and behavioral progress.



The teacher will also communicate regularly with parents or guardians, document observations, collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and events, and follow all daycare policies and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

- Experience in day care settings, including managing groups of young children and ensuring a safe, structured environment.
- Knowledge of early childhood development and best practices for supporting cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with children, families, and team members in a clear, respectful, and collaborative manner.
- Ability to contribute to curriculum development, plan lesson activities, and create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
- Proven childcare skills, including patience, empathy, behavior guidance, and positive reinforcement techniques.
- Relevant certification or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- Basic first aid and CPR knowledge, or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to stand, move, and actively participate in classroom
