Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O;) Functional Consultant to partner with business stakeholders and technical teams in delivering high-quality ERP solutions. The consultant will lead requirement analysis, design, configuration, and testing of D365 F&O; modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering & Analysis o Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to capture requirements. o Perform Fit Gap analysis and propose solutions leveraging D365 F&O; standard features.
o Document functional specifications and process flows.
- Solution Design & Configuration o Configure D365 F&O; modules such as Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting) and Supply Chain (Inventory, Procurement, Production, Warehouse Management). o Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reporting, and customizations.
o Support Power Platform components (Power BI, Power Automate) where applicable.
- Testing & Deployment o Define and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT). o Validate deliverables against business expectations.
o Assist in cutover, go live, and hypercare support.
- Training & Documentation o Conduct end user training sessions. o Prepare user guides, functional design documents, and process documentation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in D365 F&O; or Dynamics AX implementations.
- At least 3 full end to end implementations.
- Strong domain knowledge in Finance and/or Supply Chain processes.
- Expertise in functional documentation (FRD, FDD, Fit Gap analysis).
- Hands on experience with Azure DevOps for defect tracking and UAT.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Experience with Project Accounting / PMA modules.
- Familiarity with Embedded Copilot and automation features.
- Exposure to cloud hosting (Azure) and reporting tools.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
- Cooperative mindset with cross functional teams.
