Curtain Advisor – Retail / Showroom Sales

We are looking for confident, customer-focused and sales-driven professionals for a Curtain Advisor position in Thane. The ideal candidate will have solid retail sales experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand customer needs and convert consultations into successful sales.

This role is ideal for professionals from premium retail, showroom sales, home décor, furniture, interior styling, lifestyle or luxury retail backgrounds who enjoy face-to-face customer interactions and consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and conduct personalised showroom consultations.
- Understand customer requirements, design preferences, lifestyle needs and budget.
- Recommend suitable curtains, blinds, fabrics, colours, textures and soft furnishings.
- Present products confidently and convert customer enquiries into sales.
- Handle customer objections, negotiate appropriately and close sales.
- Coordinate site measurements, quotations, order specifications and installation requirements.
- Work with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain follow-ups with prospective and existing customers.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of relevant sales experience.




- Prior retail or showroom sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven face-to-face, in-person sales experience is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Strong consultative selling, pitching and closing skills.
- Confidence in interacting with premium and high-value customers.
- Professional grooming, a customer-oriented attitude and a target-driven mindset.

Important: Candidates with only tele-sales or inside sales experience will not be considered. Applicants must have experience interacting with customers in person and selling products face-to-face. Compensation & Benefits

- Annual CTC: ₹5–6 LPA.
