Job Location - Mumbai , Chennai** Role Description The Crewing Manager is a full time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region or Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end crew management, including planning, scheduling, and assigning personnel to various projects or operations in line with client requirements and regulatory standards.

The Crewing

Manager will maintain and update crew databases, coordinate joining and relieving procedures, manage documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant labor regulations. Day-to-day tasks include liaising with clients to understand staffing needs, conducting interviews or assessments as needed, resolving crew-related issues, and ensuring timely communication between crews, clients, and internal teams. The role also involves monitoring performance, supporting training and development initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement of crewing processes and service quality.

Qualifications





**- Master Mariner or Chief Engineer with experience of 12 month sailing on main fleet vessel can apply.

- Master Mariner / Chief Engineer with 12 month exp on main fleet vessel and shore experience of 1 to 4 yrs into Manning department will be an added advantage.**- Experience in crew management, workforce planning, and scheduling in service, marine, logistics, or related sectors.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate between clients, crew members, and internal teams.
- Knowledge of HR and manpower practices, including documentation, compliance, and basic labor regulations.
- Proficiency in using recruitment or crew management software, spreadsheets, and communication tools.
- Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region , Chennai Location and handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in a recruitment firm, executive search, or manpower solutions environment is highly beneficial.
