Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers will support MeetMux’s community initiatives by recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating volunteers who champion the platform’s mission. In this part-time, remote role, the coordinator will schedule and lead virtual training sessions, maintain volunteer rosters, and ensure volunteers are informed about ongoing campaigns, events, and outreach activities.

Responsibilities include organizing volunteer assignments, providing clear communication and guidance, gathering feedback, and tracking participation and impact. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to align volunteer efforts with community outreach goals and creating easy documentation or resources to help volunteers succeed.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training for organizing, guiding, and supporting diverse volunteer groups.




- Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication skills to build trust, motivate volunteers, and convey information clearly.
- Candidates should possess experience or interest in Community Outreach to support engagement initiatives and strengthen MeetMux’s presence among users and partners.
- Relevant skills such as basic digital literacy, comfort with remote collaboration tools, and time management are beneficial.
- Prior experience coordinating volunteers, working with community-based organizations, or supporting online communities is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and adapt to evolving community needs is preferred.
