Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced

Continuous Improvement professional to drive operational excellence, process improvement, productivity enhancement, and waste reduction initiatives at our Talegaon manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, TPM, Six Sigma, problem-solving, and process optimization within a manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities

- Identify opportunities for process improvement, productivity enhancement, cost reduction, and waste elimination across manufacturing operations.
- Lead and implement Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing projects from problem identification through implementation and monitoring.
- Conduct Kaizen, 5S, VSM, Gemba walks, and process improvement activities.
- Identify and eliminate the 7 wastes (Muda) and improve process flow and operational efficiency.
- Apply structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Monitor and improve key manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, productivity, cycle time, rejection, downtime, changeover time, and process efficiency.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain standard work, SOPs, process documentation, and visual management systems.
- Support SMED and setup/changeover reduction initiatives.
- Identify bottlenecks and develop solutions to improve capacity utilization and throughput.




- Track project benefits and prepare regular reports on cost savings, productivity improvements, and operational gains.
- Train and engage shop-floor teams in Lean and Continuous Improvement tools and methodologies.
- Support automation and digitalization initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure sustainable implementation of improvements through appropriate controls and monitoring mechanisms.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline.
- 68 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Production Excellence, or Process Improvement.
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with Kaizen, 5S, TPM, VSM, SMED, RCA, 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and PDCA.
- Good understanding of OEE, productivity, cycle time, downtime, rejection, and process efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work effectively with shop-floor teams and cross-functional stakeholders.

Preferred

- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certification.
- Experience in FMCG, pharmaceutical, packaging, engineering, or process manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Experience in automation, digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, or data-driven process improvement will be preferred.
